About Us

Travel by Tatten, LLC is owned and operated by Linda M. Tatten, CTC. Linda has worked in the travel industry for over 30 years. She is co-founder of Katlin Travel Group, a Virtuoso Agency, which is a network of travel agencies working with the best in luxury travel.

Linda was asked to be on the Advisory Board for Travel Counsellors, a global travel company operating across eight countries, to assist them in entering the US market. She has gone on to join Travel Counsellor’s using their worldwide resources, award winning technology, and 200 full time office support staff to better serve her clients.

Linda has earned the designation of CTC, Certified Travel Counselor, from the Travel Institute. Some of her professional designations include:

To help you design the perfect trip, Linda brings first-hand knowledge from her extensive travels (including destinations in Africa, Alaska, Asia, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific) and having lived in Hawaii. She also has first-hand experience on many types of cruise ships, from large traditional cruise ships to small exploration ships. She has sailed on a clipper ship, an all-suite luxury ship, the Disney Magic and on riverboat cruises – both in the United States and Europe.
 
Linda has served as Travel Concierge for businesses and private concerns. As travel concierge for businesses, Linda schedules activities for and accompanies out-of-town guests on sightseeing tours, museum visits, fine-dining experiences at well-known restaurants, and the like. As travel concierge for private concerns, Linda plans activities for and accompanies your relative(s) on short-term excursions like overnight trips to New York City, a day trip to the Flower Show, and even an afternoon visit with Aunt Mary.
 
Linda has developed and managed, educational and special interest travel programs for universities, cultural institutions, church groups, and a radio station (WBZ of Boston, MA).
 
Linda has been a speaker for clubs and associations, including The Pacific Asia Travel Association’s National Meeting, Boston University, ICTA Education Forum, and Emmanuel College.
 
She is a member of the following travel industry associations:

  • ICTA – The Travel Institute (formerly The Institute of Certified Travel Agents)
